During the weekend from the 19th to the 21st of April the 1st International-Austrian Rafting championship had taken place. It was accomplished on the Salza river. 25 teams from different nations were involved. Amongst others Austria, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic and Hungary had been participants. The competition was distributed within the Austrian „canoe-association“ (OKV). The competition was organised from the sportsclub of Wildalpen / section canoe The race itself was splitted into two days:
Satturday: Slalom and Head 2 Head
Sunday: Down river race The results from the international championship:
