Slalom PDF Print E-mail

Rafting slalom is comparable to the Kayak slalom. Slalom gates have to be tackled up- and downstream. Time penalties are given when a gate is touched or missed completely. Each team has two runs for each separate contest, from which the better is counted.

Red gates have to be passed upstream, greens downstream.

The heads of all occupants have to pass the gate, otherwise the crew gets a 50 seconds penalty.

In case of touching a gate the crew gets a 5 seconds penalty
